New posters have been revealed for the upcoming movie The Exorcist: Believer.
This horror movie will be the sixth movie in The Exorcist series and a direct sequel to the original movie from 1973. “The father of a possessed child, desperate for help goes in search of someone who has had similar experiences, Chris MacNeil,” reads the official synopsis. The movie will see Ellen Burstyn reprise her role as Chris for the first time in 50 years.

The movie will release on October 13, 2023, from Universal Pictures.
The cast includes Ellen Burstyn, Leslie Odom Jr., Ann Dowd, Lidya Jewett, Olivia Marcum, Raphael Sbarge, Jennifer Nettles, and Okwui Okpokwasili. It will be the first part of a trilogy.
The Exorcist: Believer will be directed by David Gordon Green, who previously rebooted the Halloween franchise with a new trilogy of films. This is another collaboration between Green and Blumhouse Productions.
