The Super Mario Bros. Movie Peacock release date has officially been set, with the highly anticipated movie arriving to the streaming platform next month.

When does The Super Mario Bros. Movie arrive on Peacock?

The Super Mario Bros. Movie Peacock release date has been set for August 3, 2023, meaning fans won’t have to wait too long to check out the film if they haven’t seen it yet. Alongside the film’s release on Peacock, it was also announced that the film will get a handful of bonus features that fans can check out in Peacock’s app, including:

  • Getting to Know the Cast: behind-the-scenes interviews with the stars of the film
  • THE SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE Field Guide: an immersive video featuring the cast and various interactive features throughout the film including Power-Ups and Bonuses
  • Peaches Lyrical Video: sing along to Bowser’s big musical number as he serenades Princess Peach

The film featured the voices of its all-star cast including Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie was directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (Teen Titans Go!) from a screenplay written by Minions: The Rise of Gru scribe Matthew Fogel. It was produced by Chris Meledandri for Illumination and Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo.

Despite receiving mixed reception from critics, the adaptation still became one of this year’s biggest movie releases. So far, it is currently the highest-grossing movie of 2023, with a worldwide gross of over $1.3 billion at the box office.
