The thriller stars Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Jonathan Groff (Hamilton, Mindhunter), Ben Aldridge (PennyworthFleabag), Nikki Amuka-Bird (Old), newcomer Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn (Little Women), and Rupert Grint (Servant).

  • Kristen Cui Shines a Light – Take a closer look at actress Kristen Cui’s dynamic performance as Wen in her film debut.

“While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse,” reads the synopsis. “With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.”

The movie grossed over $54 million during its theatrical run, overcoming its reported $20 million production budget. However, it received mixed reactions from critics and audiences. “The performances and dialogue are stilted, some of them feeling so carefully scripted and crafted that you remember you’re watching a fictional narrative,” read ComingSoon’s review.

Shyamalan also produced Knock at the Cabin with Ashwin Rajan through their Blinding Edge Pictures banner, along with Marc Bienstock. Executive producers are Steven Schneider, Christos V. Konstantakopoulos, and Ashley Fox.
