Netflix has revealed the first A Tourist’s Guide to Love photos for the upcoming romantic comedy starring She’s All That actress Rachael Leigh Cook, who is also serving as a producer.
The photos feature Cook’s character as she explores Vietnam with a local expat tour guide who will lead her to an unexpected adventure and romance. The film will be available for streaming on April 27.
“I can’t quit you rom-coms! I just can’t stay away,” Rachael Leigh Cook said in an interview with Tudum. “[Vietnam is] insanely beautiful, and the landscape is so incredibly diverse, and that’s why I think it’s so important that we set the movie in so many different places … the topography varies so greatly and it’s such an asset to the movie and to everyone who is able to see it.”

A Tourist’s Guide to Love is directed and executive produced by Steven K. Tsuchida from a screenplay written by Eirene Tran Donohue. Joining Cook are Scott Ly, Missi Pyle, Ben Feldman, Glynn Sweet, Alexa Povah, Jacqueline Correa, Nondumiso Tembe, Andrew Barth Feldman, Morgan Dudley, Quinn Trúc Trần, and Nsưt Lê Thiện.
“After an unexpected breakup, a travel executive accepts an assignment to go undercover and learn about the tourist industry in Vietnam,” reads the synopsis. “Along the way she finds adventure and romance with her Vietnamese expat tour guide when they decide to reroute the tour bus in order to explore life and love off the beaten path.”
The film will be executive produced by Jim Head for Head First Productions and Lydia Storie for Muse Entertainment, with Joel S. Rice and Galen Fletcher producing.
