When to watch Enola Holmes 2 on Netflix

Netflix set the Enola Holmes 2 release date at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Friday, November 4. The Enola Holmes sequel is once again directed by Emmy and BAFTA winner Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag, Killing Eve, Ramy). The screenplay is written by returning scribe Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, The Aeronauts).

“Fresh off the triumph of solving her first case, Enola Holmes follows in the footsteps of her famous brother, Sherlock, and opens her own agency — only to find that life as a female detective-for-hire isn’t as easy as it seems,” reads the synopsis. “Resigned to accepting the cold realities of adulthood, she is about to close shop when a penniless matchstick girl offers Enola her first official job: to find her missing sister. But this case proves to be far more puzzling than expected, as Enola is thrown into a dangerous new world — from London’s sinister factories and colorful music halls, to the highest echelons of society and 221B Baker Street itself. As the sparks of a deadly conspiracy ignite, Enola must call upon the help of friends — and Sherlock himself — to unravel her mystery. The game, it seems, has found its feet again!”

The sequel features Millie Bobby Brown’s return as the titular teen detective and Henry Cavill’s return as Sherlock Holmes. Additionally, Louis Partridge returns as Tewkesbury, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes, and Susan Wokoma as Edith. Joining them are David Thewlis (Wonder Woman), Adeel Akhtar (Sweet Tooth), Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Dune), Abbie Hern (The Twilight Zone), Hannah Dodd (Fighting with My Family), as well as Gabriel Tierney (Endeavour), and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss.

Brown and Paige Brown produced the movie through their PCMA Productions banner. The producers’ list includes Legendary’s Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, and Ali Mendes. Executive producers are Bradbeer, Thorne, Michael Dreyer, and Legendary’s Joshua Grode. It is a co-production between Legendary and Netflix.
