According to the report, And will star Stone, Plemons, Willem Dafoe, and Margaret Qualley, all of whom are attached to star in the project. Lanthismos (The Favourite) will co-write the film alongside Efthimis Filippou and will direct the feature himself. Currently, plot details are being kept under wraps.

“Working with Yorgos continues to be a highlight for us at Searchlight, and this is yet another truly original project that sets his work apart,” said Searchlight presidents David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield. “Working again with Emma, Willem, Jesse, and Margaret as well as Element and Film4 is just the icing on the cake.”

In a bit of a coincidental twist, this will be the second straight film that Lanthimos works with Stone, Dafoe, and Qualley. The trio of actors are also set to appear in Lanthimos’ next film, Poor Things, which is set to premiere sometime in 2023. For Lanthimos and Searchlight Pictures, this will also be another entry in their ongoing partnership, as the studio worked with Lanthimos on 2018’s The Favourite as well as the upcoming Poor Things.
