Sebastian Stan, Renate Reinsve, Adam Pearson to Star in A24’s A Different Man

Sebastian Stan, Renate Reinsve, and Adam Pearson are all set to star in the upcoming A24 psychological thriller A Different Man.

The film, which is directed by Aaron Schimberg (Chained for Life), follows Edward, an outcast who is looking for a new life and a fresh start. Following a facial reconstructive surgery procedure, he becomes fixated on a man that is starring as him in a stage production based on his former life. Schimberg is also set to write the film, with production set to begin next month.

Sebastian Stan is off to a big 2022, as the actor not only earned rave reviews for his portrayal of Tommy Lee in Hulu’s Pam & Tommy miniseries, but he also starred in the Hulu comedy thriller Fresh, a role that earned him further praise for his performance. Up next for the actor is Sharper, a comedy thriller from Benajmin Caron that also stars Julianne Moore, Justice Smith, Briana Middleton, and John Lithgow.

Renate Reinsve is a Norwegian actress who is best known for her role in 2021’s The Worst Person in the World, a role that earned her the Best Actress award at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. Adam Pearson last appeared in Aaron Schimberg’s 2018 film Chained for Life, and has also appeared in Rodentia and Under the Skin.
