Warner Bros. Pictures has adjusted its upcoming release date schedule, announcing that Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper, starring Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller, will hit the big screen in a limited release on December 25. It will then go wider beginning January 16. They’ve also pushed the Guy Ritchie spy actioner The Man From U.N.C.L.E. from January to August 14, 2015 and shifted the Point Break reboot by a single week, moving it from August 7, 2015 to July 31, 2015.

American Sniper‘s Christmas Day release has it opening opposite Tim Burton’s Big Eyes, the comedy sequel Hot Tub Time Machine 2, Angelina Jolie’s second directorial feature, Unbroken, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s own second directorial feature, The Interview, the fantasy musical Into the Woods, the children’s book adaptation Paddington and, also opening in a limited release, the Martin Luther King Jr. biopic, Selma.

On its new date, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. will now face Jared Hess’ untitled armored car project and the NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton. Finally, Point Break will open against the Sacha Baron Cohen spy comedy Grimsby and the John Green adaptation Paper Towns.
