In response, Miller wrote “Ha Ha Ha” in large, red letters across the screen, seemingly hinting that Affleck is far from done.

After starring as the Caped Crusader in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Affleck reprised his role as Batman in 2016’s Suicide Squad, 2017’s Justice League, and then again in 2021’s Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Since then, Affleck has seemingly spoken as if he was done with the character, but Miller’s recent messages seem to suggest otherwise.

The long-in-development The Flash movie sees the return of Ezra Miller as the DCEU’s Scarlet Speedster/Barry Allen, who he first portrayed in Batman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeJustice League, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. He also played the hero in a cameo appearance on The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event, where he got to meet Grant Gustin’s version of Barry Allen.
