Steve Carell Joins John Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds in Comedy Film IF

According to Deadline, Golden Globe winner Steve Carell has officially signed on to star opposite Ryan Reynolds in Paramount Pictures’ upcoming fantasy comedy film titled IF. The project marks a reunion between Carell and director John Krasinski after eight years since NBC’s hit sitcom The Office ended its nine-season run. The actor-turned-filmmaker also previously directed Carell in three episodes of the iconic mockumentary series.

In addition, Minari breakout Alan Kim, Cailey Fleming (The Walking Dead), and Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr. (Watchmen) have also been cast for undisclosed roles. The film is currently slated to arrive in theaters on November 17, 2023.
