The Batman's Latest Poster Showcases Colin Farrell's Penguin and Paul Dano's Riddler

Matt Reeves’ The Batman Runtime Revealed

The official runtime for Matt Reeves’ highly-anticipated The Batman starring Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader has been revealed, running just shy of three hours long. According to Variety, the DC movie has a runtime of two hours and 47 minutes, not including the end credits. The Batman runtime makes it the longest Batman movie ever, and is the third-longest comic book film, following Avengers: Endgame at 181 minutes, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League at 242 minutes.

The Batman will release in theaters on March 4, 2022.

“Two years of stalking the streets as the Batman, striking fear into the hearts of criminals, has led Bruce Wayne deep into the shadows of Gotham City,” reads the synopsis. “With only a few trusted allies — Alfred Pennyworth, Lt. James Gordon — amongst the city’s corrupt network of officials and high-profile figures, the lone vigilante has established himself as the sole embodiment of vengeance amongst his fellow citizens.”

Joining Pattinson are Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as GCPD’s James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Ferrell as Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin. It will also feature Barry Keoghan, Jayme Lawson, Alex Ferns, and twins Max and Charlie Carver.

The Batman is being produced by Reeves and Dylan Clark (the Planet of the Apes films) with Simon Emanuel, Michael E. Uslan, Walter Hamada, and Chantal Nong Vo serving as executive producers.
