In a brief look at footage from the film, which seems to have been filmed inside of a theater showing off the trailer, we see Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) waking up in the air, attached to a falling line of cargo that’s hanging out of a plane. Unless it gets pulled, you can see the trailer below:

This scene seems like it was taken directly from a moment in Uncharted 3, hinting at the possibility of the film using some of the original games iconic set pieces as references in the film. Alongside the brief look at the clip, Holland’s Drake is also seen getting into a scuffle with a Scottish man, where we’re also treated to some of the film’s humor.

Thanks to the trailer leaking online, it’s likely that a full, HD version of the clip will make its way out at some point. It had been rumored for some time now that the trailer would release alongside Dune, but Sony may no choice but to release things a bit early thanks to this latest leak.

Directed by Zombieland and Venom director Ruben FleischerUncharted is expected to be a prequel to the game series and will be taking inspiration from both a sequence of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, in which young thief Nathan Drake first meets future partner Victor Sullivan, and the fourth installment in the game franchise, A Thief’s End.
