Venom: Let There Be Carnage Featurette Spotlights Naomie Harris’ Shriek

Sony Pictures has dropped another Venom: Let There Be Carnage featurette for the highly-anticipated Marvel sequel.

The video, which you can check out in the player below, features a brief commentary from director Andy Serkis and Naomie Harris as they talked about the villainous Shriek as well as the character’s twisted and terrifying relationship with Cletus Kasady. It also gives us some new footage of the villain including her arrival at Eddie and Venom’s apartment.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will feature the return of Tom Hardy as the fan-favorite anti-hero Venom, one of Marvel’s most complex characters. It is directed by Andy Serkis from a screenplay written by Kelly Marcel, based on a story by Hardy and Marcel.

The sequel will also feature the returning cast members are Michelle Williams, Reid Scott, and Peggy Lu. It will also introduce Woody Harrelson as the maniacal serial killer Cletus Kasady/Carnage,  Naomie Harris as Frances Barrison/Shriek, and Stephen Graham as Detective Mulligan.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is based on the Marvel character created by Randy Schueller, Roger Stern, Tom DeFalco, Mike Zeck, and Ron Frenz. The sequel is being produced by Hardy, Marcel, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker.

The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters this week on October 1.
