Hawkeye Trailer & Poster Released Ahead of November Disney+ Debut

Marvel Studios has released the debut Hawkeye trailer and poster, which gives a look at the return of Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton and the introduction of Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop. The Marvel Cinematic Universe series is officially slated to make its Disney+ debut on Wednesday, November 24.

The Hawkeye series will take place in a post-blip New York City. “Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas,” says the synopsis. “Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.”

Hawkeye sees Jeremy Renner reprising his iconic role as Clint Barton, with the story also set to introduce his fan-favorite protégé Kate Bishop, who in the comic is also a member of the Young Avengers. The character will be portrayed by Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld.

Due to previously released set photos, it has been seemingly confirmed that the series will be set two years after Avengers: Endgame and is being heavily speculated that it would finally be adapting one of Hawkeye’s prominent storylines from the comics, where Clint loses his hearing.

The series will also feature MCU newcomers including Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Alaqua Cox, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, and Brian d’Arcy James. Oscar nominee Florence Pugh, who recently made her debut as Yelena Belova in Black Widow, is reportedly set to appear in the series.
