The highly anticipated Avengers Campus at Disney’s California Adventure is set to open with WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure on June 4. For the first time, guests will be able to be a part of the action through interactive elements on board with Spider-Man himself.

Disney Parks Blog revealed more details including that the Pym Test Kitchen, an Ant-Man inspired quick-serve restaurant, will also open with a selection of tiny and giant yet familiar food offerings. Yes, Pym particle foodie fun!

There will also be a fully immersive area: The Sanctum where visitors can meet Doctor Strange and participate in a lesson on the Mystic Arts. The Sorceror Supreme won’t be the only Avenger you’ll meet as throughout the campus there will be encounters with Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, the Dora Milaje, Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Thor. And don’t count the villains out, Loki is known to cause mischief around those parts too. Can we say that with the success of WandaVision, we are definitely holding out hope to see Wanda, Vision, and Agnes too!

Avengers Campus at Disney’s Califonia Adventure is the first major area of an interconnected Marvel Theme Park Universe of attractions to begin a new chapter of immersive storytelling. Through rides like Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout and Spider-Man: WEB Slingers, visitors will be invited to become superheroes in ways never before experienced.  A future Avengers team-up E-Ticket ride that will take visitors on an epic Quinjet journey is also planned to open during phase 2 of the expansion, as announced during D23 Expo 2019. These rides join the international Avengers attractions: The Iron-Man Experience and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Nano Battle at Hong Kong Disneyland which will be absorbed into a Stark Expo experience set to expand in 2023.  An additional Avengers Campus location was originally set to open at Disneyland Paris later this year. Disney Parks and Marvel Studios have partnered up to bring fans a new world of participatory entertainment to take part in worldwide. Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro told CNN, “[Marvel’s] Avengers Campus will be a campus that will never be done. As [Marvel President] Kevin Feige continues to create new stories, new characters, those stories and characters will show themselves at the park.”

California residents will be the first to visit the land, as restrictions are still currently in place and Disneyland parks will only be letting locals in through a ticketed reservation system until the state fully reopens. CA State Governor Newsom anticipates that could potentially be as early as June 15!
