The Woman in the Window Sets Release Date For Netflix Debut

Netflix has finally announced the release date for Joe Wright’s upcoming thriller film The Woman in the Window. Originally set for theatrical release, the Amy Adams-led film will now be available for streaming on May 14. The announcement comes after nearly two months since Netflix successfully acquired the rights to the long-delayed feature from 20th Century Studios. The Woman in the Window was first delayed back in 2019 due to negative test screenings. Because of this, it had to go through reshoots to correct some confusing plot points.

Adams will next be seen in the film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen. She is also set to reprise her iconic role as Giselle in Disney+’s upcoming Enchanted sequel titled Disenchanted.
