Universal Sets Ride Along 2 for January 15, 2016

Universal Pictures today announced that Ride Along 2 is set for release on January 15, 2016.

Kevin Hart and Ice Cube lead the returning lineup for the sequel to the hit action comedy. Joining Hart and Cube for the next chapter of the series are director Tim Story, as well as Cube’s fellow producers — Will Packer, Matt Alvarez and Larry Brezner — who will produce alongside Cube.

Ride Along 2 will open opposite the animated sequel, The Nut Job 2. Coincidentally, both the original Ride Along and the original The Nut Job opened opposite one another this past January.
