The famous art branch of the Alamo Drafthouse, Mondo (via Yahoo), has debuted a new poster for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ upcoming reboot of Godzilla which you can check out below.
Designed by Phantom City Creative, who brought us the Godzilla poster at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con, fans attending SXSW in Austin will have an opportunity to snag one of these posters by attending a screening of the original 1954 film, hosted by Gareth Edwards, at the Ritz Alamo Theater tomorrow at 9:30 p.m.
Opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX theaters on May 16, the Gareth Edwards film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
