Meanwhile, holiday favorites such as Elf and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation snuck their way to No. 6 and No. 10, respectively, while the Mel Gibson dark comedy Fatman, itself a holiday feature, landed at No. 7 behind Love and Monsters (No. 3), Buddy Games (No. 4) and The New Mutants (No. 5).
This week sees the arrival of Francis Ford Coppola’s anticipated The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone, the Liam Neeson thriller Honest Thief as well as John Patrick Shanley’s Wild Mountain Thyme starring Emily Blunt.
