Magnet Releasing has brought online a Red Band trailer (via Yahoo! Movies) and a poster (via Ain’t it Cool News) for writer/director Jerome Sable’s upcoming horror musical Stage Fright. Check them both out below!
Starring Allie MacDonald, Douglas Smith, Brandon Uranowitz, Minnie Driver and Meat Loaf, Stage Fright follows starry-eyed teenager Camilla Swanson, who wants to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a Broadway diva. Unfortunately, she’s stuck working in the kitchen of a snobby performing arts camp. Determined to change her destiny, she sneaks in to audition for the summer showcase and lands a lead role in the play, but just as rehearsals begin, blood starts to spill, and Camilla soon finds herself terrified by the horror of musical theatre.
Magnet Releasing will release Stage Fright on iTunes/On Demand April 3 and in theaters May 9, 2014.
