Watched at Home: Top 20 Streaming Films for the Week of November 12

Here come the holiday hits, folks! According to The Digital Entertainment Group’s Top 20 Streaming Films, you couch potatoes opted for some yuletide favorites to get through the second week of November. Though, oddly enough, WB’s Harry Potter: Complete 8-film Collection rose to the top of the list, edging out last week’s champ After We Collided. It’s safe to say the boy wizard is as popular as ever!

In third place comes the thriller Antebellum, which continues to hold steady at No. 3, followed by the documentary Trump Card and the popular TV show Yellowstone.

Here’s where it gets fun! The 1990 blockbuster Christmas comedy Home Alone jumped from No. 11 to No. 6 this week and will likely continue its climb through the holidays. While Elf (No. 11), Frozen 2 (No. 13), National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (No. 19) and The Polar Express (No. 20) all cracked into the Top 20 for the first time. Still no site of Planes, Trains and Automobiles, though that may be due to its harsher R-rating — which, outside of one F-bomb laden scene, is never fully justified. But that’s another story for another day.
