Stefanie Scott, Odessa Adlon and Jess Weixler Team Up for Hell House

According to Deadline, Stefanie Scott (Insidious: Chapter 3), Odessa Adlon (Nashville), and Jess Weixler (The Son) have joined the indie thriller Hell House from director Andrew Gori.

Per the report, the story follows “the complicated relationship between small town high school peers Dawn and Makayla in the Deep South, on the eve of a religious-themed Halloween attraction or ‘hell house’ grand opening, and the various townspeople who try to keep the two apart, with disastrous results.”

Gene Jones (No Country for Old Men) and Michael Abbott Jr. (The Death of Dick Long) also star.

Dennis Masel, Jamie Dolan, William Day Frank, and Tara Ansley are producing with an eye towards a Fall start date.

Scott recently starred in the films Good Girls Get High, Beautiful Boy, At First Light, and Insidious: The Last Key. Adlon is currently filming the TV series Grand Army, but has also starred in the TV series Fam, as well as the TV movie What About Barb? Weixler appeared in It: Chapter Two, the TV series The Son, and The Death of Dick Long.
