Joris Jarsky, Sheila Houlahan, and Sofia Vassilieva join Little Things
Deadline reports that Joris Jarsky (Saw V), Sheila Houlahan (Z Nation), and Sofia Vassilieva (My Sister’s Keeper) have joined Denzel Washington, Rami Malek and Jared Leto in John Lee Hancock’s thriller The Little Things. This bit of casting news follows the recently announced Natalie Morales, who also recently joined the cast.
The Little Things follows a burned-out Kern County, Calif. deputy sheriff named Deke (Washington) who teams with Baxter, a crack LASD detective (Malek), to reel in a wily serial killer. Deke’s nose for the “little things” proves eerily accurate, but his willingness to circumvent the rules embroils Baxter in a soul-shattering dilemma. Meanwhile, Deke must wrestle with a dark secret from his past.
Jarsky recently starred in a number of TV series including Save Me and Private Eyes. Houlahan starred in the films Wallflower and Beloved Beasts, as well as the TV series documentary The Wonderland Murders. Vassilieva made her debut on the TV series The Agency in 2001, and also starred in 2009’s My Sister’s Keeper. She is currently filming the TV mini-series Looking for Alaska.
