Jay Baruchel Joins Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone in Cameron Crowe’s Next

Still without a title, Cameron Crowe’s untitled next project has today added Jay Baruchel to its ensemble cast. The Hollywood Reporter brings word that the This is the End star will join Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams, Alec Baldwin and Danny McBride in the Hawaii-set romantic adventure.

The film is said to feature Cooper as a Hawaii-based defense contractor who has to work with an Air Force pilot (stone) to stop the launch of a weapons satellite. In the process, the pair begin to fall for one another as they’re forced to contend with supernatural island magic and a talking computer.

Baruchel, who previously appeared in Crowe’s Almost Famous, can be seen coming up in Jose Padilha’s RoboCop and Dean DeBlois’ animated sequel, How to Train Your Dragon 2. He’ll be playing Cooper’s character’s brother in the new Crowe film.
