The film, directed by longtime Clint Eastwood-collaborator Robert Lorenz (Trouble with the Curve) and co-written by Lorenz, Chris Charles and Danny Kravitz, follows a Vietnam veteran now living as a rancher who takes in a young boy on the run from the cartel and must protect him from an assassin.

Neeson is attached in the lead role of the rancher with Raba signing on to star as the assassin while Winnick’s role is currently being kept under wraps. The project is being produced by Tai Duncan, Mark Williams, Warren Goz and Eric Gold with James Masciello, Nicolas Chartier and Jonathan Deckter executive producing.

After guest starring in numerous TV roles over the years, including a recurring role on Fox’s Bones, Winnick landed a lead role in the acclaimed History Channel period drama Vikings and the Netflix martial arts thriller series Wu Assassins, as well as supporting roles in the Stephen King adaptation The Dark Tower and Netflix actioner Polar. Raba broke out in American cinema and television in 2015 with roles in the biographical disaster film The 33, Netflix’s acclaimed crime drama Narcos and ABC’s Agents of SHIELD.
