We Can Be Heroes: Netflix Rounds Out Cast For New Superhero Movie

Netflix has officially revealed the full ensemble cast for director Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming superhero movie We Can Be Heroes. Game of Thrones alum Pedro Pascal, Christian Slater (Mr. Robot, The Wife), YaYa Gosselin (The Purge), Akira Akbar (Captain Marvel, This is Us), and Boyd Holbrook (Logan) have signed on to join previously announced cast member Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

We Can Be Heroes will be produced by Rodriguez, who is best known for his work on kid-centric action-adventure films such as the Spy Kids franchise, and The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl. The film will focus on the children of Earth’s superheroes, who were suddenly faced with a huge responsibility after their parents get kidnapped by alien invaders. They now must team up and learn how to work together in order to save their parents and the world.

Other cast members include Andy Walken (The Kids are Alright), Hala Finley (Man with a Plan, Backroads) Isaiah Russell-Bailey (Family Reunion, SWAT), Lotus Blossom (Magic Max), Lyon Daniels (Patriot), Nathan Blair (Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever.), Sung Kang (Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift, Better Luck Tomorrow), Vivien Lyra Blair (Bird Box), Adriana Barraza (Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Penny Dreadful), Christopher McDonald (Mr. Iglesias, Wetlands) and Andrew Diaz.
