After We Collided: Voltage Pictures Rounds Out Cast for ‘After’ Sequel

According to Deadline, Charlie Weber (How to Get Away With Murder), Louise Lombard (The House of Eliott), Candice King (The Vampire Diaries), Karimah Westbrook (Save the Last Dance), Rob Estes (90210) and newcomer Max Ragone joined the cast of Voltage Pictures’ After We Collided, the follow-up to this year’s After. Weber, Lombard, King, Westbrook, Estes and Ragone will take on the roles of Christian Vance, Trish, Kim, Karen, Ken Scott, and Smith, respectively.

Based on Anna Todd’s novel of the same name, After We Collided will follow Hardin and Tessa as they struggle to come back together, facing obstacles that will test their relationship more than ever.

They join returning cast members Josephine Langford, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Shane Paul McGhie, Samuel Larsen, Khadijha Red Thunder, and Dylan Arnold, who are all set to reprise their roles. Former Disney star Dylan Sprouse (Suite Life of Zack and Cody) has also been tapped to star in the sequel as Trevor.

The first film followed Tessa Young (Josephine Langford), a dedicated student, dutiful daughter and loyal girlfriend to her high school sweetheart, as she enters her first semester in college. Armed with grand ambitions for her future, her guarded world opens up when she meets the dark and mysterious Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin), a magnetic, brooding rebel who makes her question all she thought she knew about herself and what she wants out of life.

After We Collided will be directed by Roger Kumble (Cruel Intentions) from a script co-written by Todd and Mario Celaya. It will be produced by Anna Todd, Jennifer Gibgot, CalMaple’s Mark Canton and Courtney Solomon.

The novel series was first published on the popular writing platform Wattpad as a Harry Styles fan fiction in 2013. Todd later signed a publishing deal with Simon & Schuster, leading to it become a New York Times bestseller.
