Shia LaBeouf is on an Adventure in The Peanut Butter Falcon Poster

A month ahead of the film’s wide release, Roadside Attractions has unveiled a brand new poster for the upcoming dramedy The Peanut Butter Falcon highlighting a sweet-natured adventure led by Shia LaBeouf (American Honey), which can be viewed in full in the gallery below!

The indie adventure features an ensemble cast led by LaBeouf that also includes Dakota Johnson (Bad Times at the El Royale), Bruce Dern (The Hateful Eight), Zack Gottsagen (The Homecoming: A Musical), Thomas Haden Church (Hellboy), John Hawkes (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Jon Bernthal (The Punisher) and former WWE star Jake “The Snake” Roberts.

The Peanut Butter Falcon tells the story of Zak (Gottsagen), a young man with Down syndrome, who runs away from a residential nursing home to follow his dream of attending the professional wrestling school of his idol, The Salt Water Redneck (Church). A strange turn of events pairs him on the road with Tyler (LaBeouf), a small-time outlaw on the run, who becomes Zak’s unlikely coach and ally. Together they wind through deltas, elude capture, drink whiskey, find God, catch fish, and convince Eleanor (Johnson), a kind nursing home employee charged with Zak’s return, to join them on their journey.

The movie was written and directed by Tyler Nilsen (The Moped Diaries) and Michael Schwartz (The Moped Diaries).

Roadside Attractions, Armory Films, and Endeavor Content will release The Peanut Butter Falcon in theaters on August 9.
