Windfall: Jesse T. Usher, Jamie Chung & More Join Netflix Thriller

Deadline brings word that Netflix’s original thriller feature Windfall has added a handful of actors to its ensemble, including Jesse T. Usher (Independence Day: Resurgence, Shaft, The Boys) and Jamie Chung (The Gifted, Big Hero 6).

Also joining the cast are Cam Gigandet (Ice, Twilight, The Magnificent Seven), Sasha Alexander (Shameless, Bernard and Huey) and Academy Award nominee Elliott Gould (Ocean’s Eight, Ray Donovan). The cast will join the previously announced Camila Mendes (Riverdale) in the project.

In Windfall, when a wealthy elderly man dies and unexpectedly leaves his estate to his new caregiver, she’s drawn into a web of deception and murder. If she’s going to survive, she’ll have to question everyone’s motives — even the people she loves.

The movie is directed by Michael Scott (Hitched for the Holidays) from a script written by David Golden (Useful. Valid. True.). Windfall is produced by Margret H. Huddleston, Stephanie Slack, and co-producer Golden. Harvey Kahn and Scott will also serve as executive producers.
