Paramount Shuffles Dora and the Lost City of Gold Release Date

Fans of Dora the Explorer will have to wait a little longer to see the popular character hit the big screen as Paramount has shifted the release date for Dora and the Lost City of Gold from July 31 to August 9. Paramount opted to take advantage of the August date after Disney vacated the slot by moving Artemis Fowl to May 29, 2020.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold, directed by 11-time Emmy and four-time BAFTA nominee James Bobin (The MuppetsMuppets Most WantedFlight of the Conchords), marks the lovable Latina character’s big screen debut after fourteen seasons and 172 episodes. The film is a Paramount Players and Nickelodeon production in association with Walden Media.
