Mark Ruffalo Didn’t Know The Hulk Survived Infinity War Until He Saw It

Mark Ruffalo didn’t know Hulk survived Infinity War until he saw it

On the latest round of press for Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Studio’s ultra-secret follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War, co-star Mark Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner/The Hulk, said he wasn’t sure if his character would’ve survived the movie. In an interview with Yahoo, the actor explained that he did two very different takes of his final scene in the film.

I didn’t know until I saw the movie,” he said. “For one take, I did disappear, and then the other one I didn’t.

Ruffalo, of course, is one of the more prolific spoilers for the MCU films — though not as bad as Tom Holland. Still, given his past indiscretions, he also assumed he’d be in the half of the universe that disappears after Thanos’ fateful snap.

I was pretty sure it was gonna be me,” Ruffalo claimed. “It’s like Survivor. It’s like, who’s gonna get kicked off the island? And I probably should’ve [been]. It’s like Project Runway for leakers.

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Confirmed cast members for the fourth Avengers film so far includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Sean Gunn, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Katherine Langford and Josh Brolin.

You can see who makes it out alive next when Avengers: Endgame opens in theaters next weekend.
