Wild Indian, the debut feature film from writer-director Lyle Mitchell Corbine Jr., stars Michael Greyeyes, Jesse Eisenberg, and Kate Bosworth. It premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival in January earlier this year as part of the U.S. Narrative Competition lineup. The film spans decades in a Wisconsin reservation tracing the lives of two Indigenous American men from a murderous act in their boyhood to their disparate adulthoods both riddled with repressed trauma until they meet again, and the painful twin suture of their collective past reopens for a fraught moral crucible.
