CS Video: Adam Scott and the A.C.O.D. Cast

Hitting theaters in a limited release this Friday, writer-director Stuart Zicherman’s A.C.O.D. offers a comedic look at a serious subject, exploring the trials and tribulations one goes through as an “Adult Child of Divorce”. Leading an ensemble cast is “Parks and Recreation” star Adam Scott and ComingSoon.net had the opportunity to sit down with him and co-stars Clark Duke, Catherine O’Hara and Jane Lynch to discuss their unique ensemble approach.

The film (co-written by Ben Karlin) follows Carter (Scott), a seemingly well-adjusted “A.C.O.D.”. Having survived the madness of his parents’ (O’Hara and Richard Jenkins) divorce, Carter now has a successful career and supportive girlfriend (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). But when his younger brother (Duke) gets engaged, Carter is forced to reunite his bitterly divorced parents and their new spouses (Amy Poehler and Ken Howard) for the wedding, causing the chaos of his childhood to return including his wacky therapist (Lynch).
