Plot Summary:
The story, based on a book of the same name by Michael Koryta, follows a teen in a witness protection program evading killers in the fire-raged wilderness of Montana. The film will reportedly “veer away from certain points,” rather than act as a straight-up adaptation; and act as more of a female-driven “by-the-seat-of-your-pants chase movie.”
