Plot Summary:

Johnson and the producers behind the project are planning on developing a continuation of John Carpenter’s original action comedy adventure. Everything that happened in the original exists and is standalone, Dwayne Johnson will be playing a new character in the sequel. The original 1986 film starred Kurt Russell and directed by John Carpenter, the original "Big Trouble in Little China" followed Jack Burton, an American trucker who, after paying a visit to his friend in San Francisco’s Chinatown, finds himself drawn into a supernatural showdown with the forces of evil.
