TWICE Dahyun Making Acting Debut in Sprint Movie Alongside Lee Shin Young

K-pop star TWICE Dahyun will make her acting debut in the movie Sprint. The cast also reportedly includes Captivating The King star Lee Shin Young.

JYP Entertainment’s globally popular K-pop girl group TWICE recently made history with their 2024 EP, With YOU-th. The mini album earned the K-pop act their first Billboard 200 topper rank. After a grand beginning of 2024, TWICE members are preparing for more, including Dahyun’s acting venture.

Sprint movie cast confirms TWICE Daehyun, Ha Seok Jin and Lee Shin Young

TWICE’s Dahyun is joining the upcoming movie Sprint. According to TWICE’s music label, JYP Entertainment, the 25-year-old K-pop star is preparing for the filming. Along with TWICE, Lee Shin Young and Ha Seok Jin will reportedly join the drama.

Per the reports, Sprint is a feel-good sports film directed by Lee Seung Hoon. The movie explores the lives of those who dare to dream the impossible and chase it with utmost passion. The story shows how an athlete who broke records at an early age feels lost ten years later, no longer finding the burning fire in him to continue the sport.

Ha Seok Jin will portray the character of Kang Goo Young, an athlete who broke a significant record, becoming the first South Korean to achieve this feat in thirty years. But a decade passes, and Kang Goo Young finds himself exhausted without any passion left for his sport.

Meanwhile, TWICE is also preparing for the Japanese leg of their 2024 Ready to Be World Tour. The K-pop nonet will hold concerts on six dates in July, ending on July 28.

The setlist of the first set of Japanese concerts included “Set Me Free,” “I Can’t Stop Me,” “Go Hard,” “More & More” and other tracks.
