Queen of Tears Actor & Apink Member Yoon Bomi Gives Relationship Update

Apink member Yoon Bomi has a relationship update for fans. The Queen Of Tears actress has been dating a renowned music producer for over seven years. Recently, Yoon Bomi came to the spotlight for her brilliant portrayal of Secretary Na in Queen Of Tears. Before the hit Netflix show, fans had seen her in numerous K-dramas, including Please Don’t Date Him, Farming Academy, and Because This Is My First Life.

Yoon Bomi confirms dating Black Eyed Pilseung’s  composer Rado

Korean media Dispatch reported that Yoon Bomi has been dating music producer Rado of Black Eyed Pilseung since April 2017. The 30-year-old K-pop and K-drama star reportedly met Rado while working on Apink’s 2016 track “Only One.” After a year, the duo started ‘officially dating.’

Yoon Bomi’s agency, Choi Creative Lab, responded to the dating news on April 23: “Upon confirmation with Yoon Bomi, she is maintaining a good relationship as reported in the articles.”

The agency further noted: “However, as it is the artist’s private life, we ask for your understanding in not being able to confirm any other details. Yoon Bomi will continue to work actively as an Apink member, actress, and all-rounder entertainer. Please show unchanging support and encouragement for Yoon Bomi.” Rado’s team, Highup Entertainment, echoed the same statement, adding, “Please look upon the two with warmth.”

Yoon Bomi debuted in K-pop in 2011 with the music group Apink. Since then, she has pursued diverse artistic pursuits, including hosting the variety show Weekly Idol from 2013 to 2015 and appearing in multiple Korean entertainment shows like Witches and We Got Married.

Bomi debuted in acting in a cameo role in the 2012 K-drama Reply 1997. The all-rounder Korean artist’s varied interests gained recognition as she snagged the Most Influential Celebrity YouTuber award in the 2020 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards.

Rado, on the other hand, has been a renowned music producer for almost a decade. With Choi Kyu Sung, Rado formed the producer group Black Eyed Pilseung and created some of the most iconic K-pop hits, including Apink’s “I’m So Sick,” Only One, “Eung Eung,” STAYC’s “So Bad,” “Like This,” TWICE’s “Cheer Up,” TT,” SISTAR’s “Lonely,” and “I Like That.”

Rado and Choi Kyu Sung joined Mnet’s survival show Idol School as their music producer in 2017. After the show, the producer duo established their record label, High Up Entertainment.
