One of the biggest new-generation K-pop acts, TripleS, has finished its long pre-debut project and is gearing up for a comeback with all twenty-four members.
TripleS’ pre-debut project took two years to complete. The group’s first member, Yoon SeoYeon, was introduced to fans on May 1, 2022, and the group’s final member, Ji SuhYeon, was introduced on April 4, 2024. After unveiling all the TripleS members’ profiles, the K-pop act is preparing for an entire team comeback, which will happen at the beginning of May.
TripleS members and all about 2024 comeback revealed
Most K-pop music labels have ditched the concept of large groups. However, South Korean entertainment agency MODHAUS took a chance with TripleS. The prolonged period of their pre-debut project raised fans’ interest in discovering all the members and more about their profiles.
Ultimately, MODHAUS revealed all 24 members of TripleS, including Kim Yoo-Yeon, Mayu, Xinyu, Kim Na-Kyoung, Park So-Hyun, Seo Da-Hyun, Nien, Yoon Seo-Yeon, Jiyeon, Kotone, Kim Chae-Yeon, Gong Yu-Bin, Lee Ji-Woo, Kaede, Park Shi-On, Sullin, Lynn, Jeong Hye-Rin, Kim Chae-Won, Jeong Ha-Yeon, Kim Soo-Min, Kwak Yeon-Ji, Joo Bin, and Seo-Ah.
TripleS will officially return with the Assemble24 project on May 8 at 6 p.m. KST/ 5 a.m. ET. Pre-orders for the group’s comeback album started on April 16. Assemble24 will be available for global fans in four versions – A, B, C, and QR.
TripleS is also teasing a brand-new concept with the group. The label explained the group’s meaning as “The Idol of all Possibilities.” The three S letters stand for “Social, Sonyo, Seoul.” As the group has 24 members, it will be divided into multiple sub-units and promote new content in the future.
So far, TripleS has released several EPs with different sub-units, including Assemble, Access, Aesthetic, Muhan, and Mujuk. Among the extended plays, Assemble and Aesthetic have been the best sellers. Assemble sold over 48,869 copies in South Korea, ranking number 10 on South Korea’s Circle Album Chart. Aesthetic received over 50,574 copies, peaking at number 8 on the Circle Album Chart.
