Zerobaseone Comeback Album You Had Me at Hello Release Date Revealed

K-pop act Zerobaseone confirmed the release date of their comeback album- You Had Me At Hello. The upcoming album will be the K-pop rookie group’s third EP release since their debut in 2023.

Zerobaseone’s popularity skyrocketed even before its debut. The K-pop nonet was formed through Mnet’s survival reality show, Boys Planet. After competing among 98 participants, Kim Ji Woong, Zhang Hao, Sung Ha-bin, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae Rae, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, Park Gun Wook, and Han Yujin won the competition and made it to the debut lineup.

Three months after Boys Planet, Zerobaseone announced their debut album, Youth In The Shade. This album made K-pop history as the most pre-ordered debut album of a K-pop male rookie group, receiving over 780,000 pre-orders within five days of the announcement.

After starting their K-pop career on a high note, Zerobaseone returns to the music scene in 2024 with a mini album, You Had Me At Hello.

Zerobaseone’s album You Had Me At Hello: Release date & more explored

Zerobaseone’s comeback mini album, You Had Me At Hello, will be released on May 13 at 6 p.m. KST/ 5 a.m. ET. Before the album’s official drop, the K-pop act will unveil the pre-released track “Sweat” on April 24 at 6 p.m. KST/ 5 a.m. ET. The physical version of the album will come in three variants- Sunshower, Eclipse, and Solar.

Zerobaseone shared a spoiler film titled “Summer Came Early” before announcing the new album’s release date. The moody teaser transports fans to the group’s summer days. The trailer film has a voice-over in which the group says, “Hello… our first greeting. The blinding sun and us dancing under it. Our beautiful time. Here, now.”

Meanwhile, Zerobaseone members are slowly spreading their wings through individual activities while maintaining their participation in group projects. Zerobaseone star Han Yujin will start a new solo stint as the latest host of Inkigayo. The singer will join IVE’s Leeseo and Queen Of Tears actor Moon Seong-Hyun to host the weekly music show.
