K-Pop Comebacks April 2024: TXT, Babymonster, Boynextdoor & More Artists Confirmed

April will be an eventful month for K-pop fans. TXT, Babymonster, and more artists are making their much-awaited comebacks this month with new albums.

Along with comeback plans, several K-pop acts have also announced their concert tours, which will begin after their comeback. TXT will embark on their <ACT: PROMISE> World Tour 2024 from May 3. So, let’s look at some of the biggest K-pop acts releasing their brand new albums in April.

Tomorrow X Together (TXT)

TXT (Tomorrow X Together) will release a mini album, Minisode 3: Tomorrow, on April 1 at 6 p.m. KST/ 5 a.m. ET. It will mark the group’s sixth extended play release since their debut. As per the concept trailer, TXT’s upcoming album will depict the story of salvation. The animated teaser opens with the line, “The moment light gets in the little cracks, we will be able to meet again,” against a sunrise backdrop in a busy cityscape.

The album is expected to continue the narrative of ‘promise,’ which is also the concept of TXT’s upcoming tour. The group reiterates the theme of promise in the mini album, narrating a story of hope.

Babymonster

YG Entertainment’s rising girl group, Babymonster, will return to the music with their much-anticipated EP, BabyMons7er, on April 1, 2024. Before the release, the music label shared the tracklist of the new EP, which includes six tracks, “Monsters,” “Sheesh,” “Like That,” “Stuck In The Middle” (OT7 version), “Batter Up” (OT7 version) and “Dream.”

The comeback album is extra special to fans as pop legend Charlie Puth has contributed a song. Former CEO of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-Suk, revealed in a video that Charlie Puth gifted the song “Like That” to the group.

EPEX

K-pop’s rising act EPEX will release its first-ever studio album, Youth Chapter 1: YOUTH DAYS, as their comeback in 2024. The new album will be released on April 9 at 6 p.m. KST/ 5 a.m. ET/ 2 a.m. PT/ 10 a.m. BST.

The studio album will launch EPEX’s new Youth Trilogy theme. The first album will portray a colorful story of youth that global fans can relate to. EPEX previously released six parts of The Book of Anxiety series. So, fans will experience a new concept with the upcoming studio album.

Boynextdoor

Rising K-pop act Boynextdoor will release their second EP, [HOW?], on April 15 at 6 p.m. KST/ 5 a.m. ET. KOZ Entertainment’s rookie group previously released their debut EP, Who!, on May 30, 2023. Before their debut, the K-pop trainees released two music videos for singles “But I Like You” and “One and Only” on May 23 and May 26, respectively.

Before the album’s release, the group shared a playful teaser of their upcoming EP, [HOW?], where members discover the fleeting feeling of having a crush. The theme hints at a fantasy story; fans are thrilled to learn more about it through the album.

ONF

Hyojin, E-Tion, Seungjun, Wyatt, Minkyun, and U of ONF are making their comeback in April with their ninth extended play, Beautiful Shadow. The upcoming EP will be released on April 8, 2024, at 6 p.m. KST/ 5 a.m. ET.

As per the latest trailer of Beautiful Shadow, the mini album will explore a darker theme contrasting with their bubbly pop EP, Love Effects. ONF has been gaining recognition for its bright and uplifting music. So, the new EP will show a side of them that fans have not seen much of.

More April comebacks of 2024 include Monsta X star I.M’s third EP, Off The Beat, which will be released on April 3, and Loossemble’s second EP, One Of a Kind, dropping on April 16.
