K-pop’s solo superstar Hwasa is raising the temperature with the teaser poster release for her upcoming Fan Con Tour, Twits. The Mamamoo star, who recently joined P Nation, will hold her first Twits concert in Seoul.
The 28-year-old has been making waves in the music industry since she released her first solo single, “Twit,” in February 2019. The debut track of Hwasa led to the singer snagging the Song of the Year trophy at the Gaon Chart Music Awards. The single also topped the Circle Digital Chart.
Since then, Hwasa has released several chart-topping singles and extended plays, including EP Maria and “Guilty Pleasure.” In 2023, she restarted her new career, joining Psy’s music label, P Nation.
Hwasa announces Fan Con Tour date for Seoul
Mamamoo star Hwasa announces Fan Con Tour 2024 date for her upcoming Seoul concert. The K-pop singer will hold the special event on April 20th at Sejong University Daeyang Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
According to K-media reports, Hwasa is planning colorful stages, spectacular performances for the Twits Fan Con Tour 2024, and events where she can personally meet fans.
Pre-sale tickets for Hwasa fan club members will be available from March 28, 8 p.m. KST/ 7 a.m. ET, to April 1, at 11:59 p.m. KST/ 10.59 a.m. ET.
General tickets will go on sale at Interpark on April 2 at 8 p.m. KST/ 7 a.m. ET.
Meanwhile, Hwasa released her latest single, “I Love My Body,” in 2023 after joining the P Nation. The body-positive message of the single resonated with fans and garnered over 50 million views since its release on YouTube.
The non-album song ranked 9th on South Korea’s Circle Digital Chart and 8th on the Billboard US World Chart.
With a new start with P Nation, Hwasa got recognition for her latest single in year-end award shows. “I Love My Body” led to Hwasa’s win at the 2024 Circle Chart Music Awards, where she snagged the trophy for New Icon of the Year.
