Every year, K-pop fans see their favorite idols graduate. And this year, two rising young icons from the industry have joined the list, as they attended the SOPA Graduation 2024 ceremony.
School of Performing Arts Seoul, or SOPA, is a popular choice for many K-pop stars to finish their education. Some of the proud alumni of the institution include BTS superstar Jungkook, Blackpink Jisoo, EXO Kai, singer-actress Bae Suzy, IVE’s Yujin and Wonyoung, Red Velvet’s Joy and NCT’s Mark.
K-pop stars Junghwan and Dahyun shine at Sopa Graduation 2024 ceremony
Two K-pop rookies who joined the long list of SOPA Alumni are none other than Treasure’s So Junghwan and Rocket Punch’s Dahyun. The proud youngsters posed in front of the press with their SOPA 2024 graduation certificates, donning the signature yellow and black uniform.
To make the special day more memorable, other members of the group Treasure and Rocket Punch also joined the stars.
Treasure’s stars took it up a notch to celebrate Junghwan’s graduation ceremony. The members shared a fun reel where all the members hid in the darkness. And the light shone on Junghwan in SOPA uniform.
Moreover, the graduation is just the beginning for Junghwan and Dahyun, who have high ambitions in their K-pop career. Junghwan once shared his desire to excel at ‘everything’ in an interview.
Speaking of his K-pop career, the 18-year-old rookie idol shared: “At my age, it’s nice to keep a record of myself. I want to continue being a well-balanced person. I want to excel in everything I do, to be someone who can do everything exceptionally well.”
Similarly, Rocket Punch’s Dahyun, who is the same age, discussed the importance of developing her skills. In an interview with AllKpop, the singer shared her vision regarding her K-pop career.
“I focus on developing my skills. As I focus on that, having good teamwork and self-confidence naturally follows. And I am sure many people will know about it,” the member revealed.
With a new beginning ushering in, K-pop fans can’t wait to watch what Dahyun and Junghwan do next in their blooming music career.
