BABYMONSTER’s BATTER UP Teaser: YG Entertainment’s New Girl Group Gears up for Debut

BABYMONSTER is a brand new K-pop girl group that will make its highly awaited debut this November 2023. YG Entertainment, the agency behind one of the biggest South Korean girl groups, Blackpink, has formed the new group. The entertainment agency has recently released a music video teaser for BABYMONSTER’s upcoming debut digital single titled, “BATTER UP”.

The new MV teaser provides viewers with intriguing glimpses of what to expect from the newly formed girl group’s debut digital single. It showcases all six members of the upcoming K-pop group, including Rami, Rora, ASA, Ruka, Pharita, and Chiquita, their stunning visuals, and a very brief taste of their music.

BABYMONSTER’s BATTER UP release date, time & more

YG Entertainment is all set to release “BATTER UP”, the much-anticipated new digital single by BABYMONSTER, on Monday, November 27, 2023. The airtime of the single is midnight KST, 10 a.m. ET, and 8.30 p.m. IST.

Previously, the South Korean agency dropped a poster for “BATTER UP” which displayed some big names in the K-pop industry. As per the poster, Jared Lee, BABYMONSTER member ASA, YG, TREASURE’s Choi Hyun Suk, WHERE THE NOISE, AKMU’s Lee Chanhyuk, and BIGTONE have served as lyricists. While Chaz Mishan, DEE.P, YG, ASA, and Jared Lee have been the co-composers for the single.

BABYMONSTER debut date, members & more

The new South Korean girl group, formed by YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER will also debut on November 27, 2023. Their debut will be simultaneous with the release of their debut digital single “BATTER UP”.

The girl group consists of six members, featuring multinational individuals. The members include Rami (Korean), Rora (Korean), ASA (Japanese), Ruka (Japanese), Chiquita (Thai) and Pharita (Thai). Initially, the group had a total of seven members. Ahyeon was the seventh prime member of BABYMONSTER. However, she will not make her debut with the group due to some undisclosed health reasons. The news was confirmed by YG Entertainment.

The agency is returning to the girl group realm with BABYMONSTER after a seven-year gap since the debut of Blackpink.
