Frankly Speaking Episode 5 Trailer: Go Kyung-Pyo Gets Jealous of Kang Han-Na & Joo Jong-Hyuk’s Connection

JTBC recently shared the Frankly Speaking episode 5 trailer, featuring Kang Han-Na and Go Kyung-Pyo. The comedy-romance K-drama focuses on the lead characters growing closer while helping each other during their difficult phase.

In the previous episode, Song Ki-Baek (Go Kyung-Pyo) regretted his decision to quit his job and struggled to move on. On Woo-Joo (Kang Han-Na) also faced challenges at work and lost confidence in her abilities. Towards the end, they realized that they could help each other, and hence, Ki-Baek agreed to participate in her new variety show. The only problem is that the show also stars Woo-Joo’s ex, Kim Jung-Heon (Joo Jong-Hyuk).

The trailer for the upcoming episode 5 features Ki-Baek showcasing his jealous side. He cannot fathom Woo-Joo and Jung-Heon’s connection.

The Frankly Speaking episode 5 trailer begins with an introduction to Woo-Joo’s new variety show. It is a reality dating show where Jung-Heon and Ki-Baek participate in different challenges to woo the female participants.

Unfortunately, Ki-Baek’s awkward interaction makes him boring to others. On the other hand, top star Jung-Heon attracts women’s attention without putting in much effort. The video further focuses on Jung-Heon and Woo-Joo reminiscing about the old days. Their connection and interaction upset Ki-Baek.

Sulking, Ki-Baek tells Woo-Joo, “I don’t want you to think about the old days.” Further, Woo-Joo asks him the next day, as the variety show host, who he likes the most. He looks at her, creating an awkward moment. At the end of the trailer, Ki-Baek says to her, “I am upset. I am really upset with you, Ms. On.”

Frankly Speaking episode 5 will air on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 8.50 p.m. KST on JTBC. It also streams on Netflix.
