When he reaches the location, Lee Yoon-Dae (Lee Jae-Bin) opens the door and looks shocked. It appears the two know each other but share a bitter relationship.

Later, it is revealed that Soo-Hyuk’s mother was supposed to marry Yoon-Dae’s father in the past. At the time, they became closer, but things didn’t work out between their parents. Yoon-Dae turned sour towards Soo-Hyuk as the breakup happened because of the latter.

Korean BL drama Gray Shelter episode 1 spoilers: Jang Woo-Young learns about Lee Jae-Bin’s abusive father

In Gray Shelter episode 1, Yoon-Dae (Lee Jae-Bin) becomes annoyed and furious after his sudden encounter with Soo-Hyuk (Jang Woo-Young). He calls Soo-Hyuk’s company and complains about him, requesting another technician. Soo-Hyuk tells his boss that he knows the client and will handle the situation.

Yoon-Dae, on the other hand, becomes upset over the encounter and goes out with his friend for a drink. He gets wasted reminiscing about his time with Soo-Hyuk in the past. The flashback features the two lead characters’ first encounter. They meet at a cafe when Soo-Hyuk mentions that he will become his big brother after their respective parents get married. Yoon-Dae objects to the union, revealing that his father is abusive.

The next day, Yoon-Dae gets wasted with his friend. Soo-Hyuk comes to pick him up and takes him to his apartment. He notices marks on Yoon-Dae’s neck and face, which have appeared due to his dad’s beating. When he wakes up the following day, Yoon-Dae leaves without informing Soo-Hyuk. The latter tracks him down and brings him home again. He says that Yoon-Dae can live with him so that his father cannot beat him up anymore. Yoon-Dae finds comfort for the first time in life.

Gray Shelter episode 2 spoilers: Will Lee Jae-Bin move in with Jang Woo-Young?

Korean BL drama Gray Shelter episode 2 begins with the introduction to Soo-Hyuk’s (Jang Woo-Young) life. He struggles to earn money while studying. So, he decides to drop out of school and start working as a technician. His parents are divorced, but none of them provide for him. Instead, he sends money to both.

In return, his father sends a box of apples, which he keeps in his house even though they are rotten. Meanwhile, Yoon-Dae’s (Lee Jae-Bin) father forces him to be like Soo-Hyuk. In frustration, Yoon-Dae throws out the box of apples. When Soo-Hyuk finds out, he becomes furious, and a big argument occurs between the two.

Soo-Hyuk ends their friendship by saying, “I don’t think of you and your dad as a family.” This is why Yoon-Dae gets annoyed when he sees Soo-Hyuk after a long time. Coming back to the present time, Yoon-Dae’s girlfriend breaks up with him, and he becomes homeless. Soo-Hyuk discovers it when he arrives at his ex-girlfriend’s apartment to fix the air conditioner.

Although they have not been in contact for a long time, Soo-Hyuk becomes restless thinking about Yoon-Dae. Gray Shelter episode 2 ends with Soo-Hyuk calling Yoon-Dae at night and asking, “Do you have anywhere to go?” It seems the latter will move in with Soo-Hyuk in the upcoming episode.

Gray Shelter will air the next two episodes on Thursday, April 18, 2024, on Heavenly.
