The Midnight Studio Episode 6 Recap & Spoilers: Did Joo Won Reject Kwon Nara?

The Midnight Studio episode 6 aired on Monday, April 1, 2024, on ENA. Starring Joo Won as Seo Ki-Joo and Kwon Nara as Han Bom, the fantasy K-drama revolves around a ghost photographer seeking a lawyer’s help to protect him from evil spirits.

In episode 5, Seo Ki-Joo faced the side effects of trying to cure Han Bom’s ghost-sighting problem. Despite being unwell, he arrived at the right time to protect her when a group of ghosts rushed to her after a major road accident.

The Midnight Studio episode 6 features Han Bom falling for Ki-Joon after realizing he has always helped her. Seeing his protectiveness, she asks him if he likes her. Stunned, Ki-Joon denies liking her. However, he mentions that he likes her “safe zone.” It is the supernatural circle, a.k.a ghost repellent, that appears when the two come closer.

The Midnight Studio episode 6 spoilers: Kwon Nara & Joo Won give a ghost his happy ending

The Midnight Studio episode 6 begins with Han Bom’s (Kwon Nara) traumatic past. When she was young, she met with an accident that killed her parents. Wounded, she entered the photo studio from the magical gate carrying the mystical camera.

This scene adds curiosity to the storyline, leaving fans wondering if she has been brought back to life using the magical camera. Hence, she can see ghosts and form a supernatural circle whenever Seo Ki-Joo (Joo Won) is closer.

Coming back to the present, Ki-Joo protects Han Bom from the ghosts at the accident scene. After bidding farewell to the dead at the photo studio, he takes Han Bom to meet a ghost dog. He wants to find out how close he and Han Bom should be to form the magical circle. Seeing Ki-Joo care for her, she asks, “Do you like me by chance?” Shocked with her question, Ki-Joo stutters and replies, “What I like is your circle.” His response annoys Han Bom, and she later sulks due to being rejected.

Meanwhile, young truck driver So-Myeong, who supposedly caused the road accident in the previous episode, is labeled as the murderer. When So-Myeong was alive, his only dream was to graduate. So, Ki-Joo and Han Bom help him to prove his innocence and also give him a satisfactory graduation party.

Ki-Joo manages to convince So-Myeong’s colleagues to fight for him and seek justice. They also attend ghost So-Myeong’s graduation farewell and bid an emotional goodbye, leaving viewers teary-eyed.

The Midnight Studio episode 6 ending: Kwon Nara kisses Joo Won

So-Myeong’s farewell leaves Seo Ki-Joo and Han Bom emotional and happy at the same time. She invites him for a drink to celebrate a successful day at work. Han Bom pulls his leg by mentioning that he first rejected her and now refuses to drink with her.

Eventually, the two share a few drinks after Han Bom assures Ki-Joo that her circle will protect him. She promises to be closer to him to keep ghosts away and thus requests him not to vacate her building.

The Midnight Studio episode 6 ending focuses on Han Bom confessing her feelings to him while he looks at her with wide eyes. The final scenes take Ki-Joo by surprise as she leans forward and kisses him.

The Midnight Studio airs twice a week on Monday and Tuesday on ENA and Viki.
