Lee Jung-Ha could not appear in the previous episode as he had to make his MC debut. Instead, the audience witnessed K-pop boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Yeonjun joining the rest of the cast in the episode.
In Apartment 404 episode 4, the show presented the cast with a 1970 mystery apartment case revolving around the collapse of a building due to faulty construction. At the end of the episode, Jennie, Oh Na Ra, and Yoo Jae-Suk won the mystery game.
