Parasyte: The Grey Reveals New Photos Tease Jeon So-Nee’s Character Details

Recently, Netflix shared new pictures of Jeon So-Nee, Goo Kyo-Hwan, Kim In-Kwon, and others from the yet-to-be-released Parasyte: The Grey. The drama is based on the popular manga series Parasyte by Hitoshi Iwaaki. The series also follows the same storyline as the manga. It narrates the events unveiled after a parasitic incident that infiltrates human beings. The parasitic life forms from outer space fall on Earth and start infecting humans to survive. However, not everyone can get infected.

Jeong Su-In (Jeon So-Nee) is a person who gets infected by a parasite, but for some reason, it can’t take over her brain. How the parasite co-exists with Su-In and how it affects others and the area forms the core of this drama.

Parasyte: The Grey’s new photos show Jeon So-Nee, Goo Kyo-Hwan, Lee Jung-Hyun, and more

The first few pictures released by Netflix show Jeon So-Nee portraying two different personalities. The first photo shows her as Jeong Su-In, an ordinary woman with a mundane daily life. In the next one, she is coexisting with the parasite Heidi, who fails to take over her brain. In one of the photos, she transforms into a parasitic creature, heightening the anticipation of the viewers.

Meanwhile, Goo Kyo-Hwan plays Seol Kang-Woo in the drama. In the next set of pictures, the actor is exuding intense gaze and serious expressions. He sets out on a journey with Su-In to find his missing sister. Viewers are quite excited to see him in this new character.

Fans can also see a few stills of Lee Jung-Hyun. She plays Choi Jun-Kyung, the team leader of Team Grey, who works to eradicate the parasites. Kwon Hae-Hyo portrays Chul Min, a detective at Namil Police Station.

As per IMBC.com, the director of the drama stated (originally in Korean), “Parasyte: The Grey is ultimately a story about coexistence. It will make viewers ponder about coexistence within organizations and individuals within organizations.”

Parasyte: The Grey is slated to release on April 5 on Netflix.
