tvN recently shared the trailer for the Captivating the King episode 15 ahead of its premiere. Starring Jo Jung-Suk as Lee In and Shin Se-Kyung as Kang Hee-Soo/Mong-Woo, the Netflix K-drama is nearing its end.
In episode 14, King Lee In will expose the crimes committed by his uncle, Principal Director Park Jong-Hwan. Meanwhile, the latter has given the king’s court maid a poisoned lip color. The episode ends with her wearing the make-up and leaning forward to kiss Lee In.
The recently released preview of Captivating the King episode 15 features a conflict between Lee In and his mother. For context, she has always supported Jong-Hwan’s methods and wanted the king to rule the kingdom.

In the Captivating the King episode 15 trailer, King Lee In’s mother wants her son to stop the investigation. She mentions that if he continues digging into Principal Director Park Jong-Hwan’s crimes, his position as the king will be in jeopardy.
Seeing his mother react this way, Lee In gets furious. He asks her to stop pushing him for her greed. Lee In mentions that he cannot bear the pain since his brother, the former king, passed away three years ago. He is suspicious of his mother knowing the person who poisoned her brother, but Lee In is afraid to ask.
Now, episode 15 will feature the final battle where Lee In and Kang Hee-Soo will try to expose the traitor.
