MBC unveils more pictures of Cha Eun-Woo, and fans are in awe. The South Korean actor plays a pivotal role in the upcoming K-drama Wonderful World, and now, these new pictures give a perspective of his looks.
Directed by Lee Seung-Young and written by Kim Ji-Eun, the series is a thriller drama with lots of emotional quotient. The storyline revolves around Eun Soo-Hyun (Kim Nam-Joo), a woman who wants to take revenge for losing her son. But when the wrongdoer gets a free pass through the legal system, Soo-Hyun takes the law into her own hands. On the other hand, Cha Eun-Woo plays Kwon Sun-Yool, who leads a tough life after dropping medical school.
In Wonderful World, Cha Eun-Woo‘s character Kwon Sun-Yool works at a junkyard but he also works for a politician Park Hyuk Kwon (Kim Joon). He faces quite a rock bottom after losing his family in a criminal injustice. In a certain turn of events, Sun-Yool gets entangled with Eun Soo-Hyun’s story. What happens next is all about the drama.

MBC drops new still pictures of Cha Eun-Woo and fans get a glimpse of how his character Kwon Sun-Yool is going to look like. In the pictures, the actor is giving tough and rugged looks in his work uniform and riding a motorbike. In other photos, the ASTRO member depicts an intense gaze and sweaty looks.
In Wonderful World, Cha Eun-Woo plays a tough character which is quite the opposite of how he usually does in his other dramas, which are gentle. Talking about his role in a previous interview as mentioned in Sports Chosun, Cha Eun-Woo said, “Kwon Sun Yool is rough and dark, but he’s someone who plans his life meticulously. The character’s unique vibe that is infused in his rough life is charming. Viewers can see a different side of me from what you have seen before.”
He further explained, “I tried to loosen up as much as possible and act with sincerity. I focused most on the emotional portrayal, and I went on set each time while thinking over Sun Yool’s emotions and feelings within the script. I stayed on my toes while filming.”
Wonderful World is scheduled to premiere on March 1, 2024, at 9:50 pm KST.
